NELSON CRAGG is an ASC award winning cinematographer based in Los Angeles who specializes in narrative feature film and television projects.

Nelson is currently lensing the Golden Globe award winning thriller Homeland (2012 Best Dramatic Television Series, and Best actress in a Televison Series – Claire Danes). He also recently shot episodes of the critically acclaimed AMC hit Breaking Bad for showrunner Vince Gilligan, and the massive Steven Spielberg produced Terra Nova pilot in Australia for Fox. Recent feature film work includes Arena starring Samuel L. Jackson, Kellen Lutz, and Nina Dobrev.

Nelson has been honored with two American Society of Cinematographer Awards for his work, and is the only person to have won a student ASC award (03’) and then gone on to win in the professional category (CSI, 09’).

Nelson holds a Masters Degree in Film Production from the University of Southern California.
